SANTA MONICA, Calif. — Police in Santa Monica deployed a TASER on a man in the street Monday after he threatened officers with a large umbrella.
According to CBS Los Angeles, the incident outside a Starbucks occurred after police responded to calls of a man swinging the instrument.
The man was arrested and may have been placed on a mental health hold, according to the report.
