AURORA, Colo. — The Aurora Police Department has released a video in a show of support to all those affected by the massacre that killed 49 people and wounded dozens more in Orlando.

Officers, evidence technicians, detectives and other law enforcement staff who were involved in the response and investigation of the deadly 2012 shooting at an Aurora movie theater take turns speaking to the camera in solidarity with those affected by the Pulse nightclub attack.

According to CBS News, the video is the brainchild of one of the cops who was first on the scene of the theater shooting, Lt. Stephen Redfearn. He told the publication that the outpouring of support around the world in the wake of the incident, in which 12 people were killed and 70 others injured, helped his department heal. The video was created in the hope that it would help heal Orlando much in the same way.

The Orlando Police Department has already responded to the touching show of support.

“We have no words to express our thanks to @AuroraPD,” the department wrote via Twitter.
