NEW YORK CITY — JetBlue is once again offering free airfare to police officers who want to attend the funeral of a slain NYPD officer.
Newsweek reports the company is extending the offer for any cops who plan to attend the funeral of 25-year-old Officer Brian Moore, who died Monday after getting shot in the head Saturday.
Moore’s service is planned for Friday.
JetBlue rolled out a similar offer in December in the wake of the fatal ambush of NYPD Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos.
“We are honored to help now just as we have in the past,” a spokesman for the company told Newsweek.
