BLANCHARD, Okla. — An officer was lucky his body camera was recording, because there’s no way his chief would have believed this story.
An officer responded to a call of a loose pony over the weekend when a goat took a liking to his patrol car, KOCO reported. The officer stopped at a home to ask the owners if they had lost a pony when the goat hopped on the hood of the car.
The woman quickly removed the goat, but as the officer got into his car to pull away, the animal jumped right back on.
“That’s my hood, dude,” the officer said.
The department shared the video on Facebook with the caption, “Body cams are useful for convincing the chief that a goat did it.”
Officials told KOCO that no damage was done to the vehicle. There’s no word if the pony was returned to its rightful owner.
