Dell Technologies will unveil the Latitude 7030 Rugged Extreme Tablet at IACP 2023. This 10-inch fully rugged Windows tablet is designed to be a portable and durable solution for those who work in challenging field conditions.

Despite its rugged nature, the tablet maintains a lightweight profile with a 2.2-pound chassis, making it easy to carry around on the job. One of the notable features of the Latitude 7030 is its hot-swappable batteries, which ensure uninterrupted performance during long shifts.

The durability of the tablet is underscored by its IP-65 and MIL-STD 810 ratings, indicating its ability to withstand rough handling and harsh weather conditions. On the security front, the tablet is equipped with TPM 2.0 ControlVault for data encryption, Microsoft Windows Hello-based facial recognition, a touch fingerprint reader, camera privacy shutters and a smartcard reader, providing a comprehensive security suite to protect sensitive data.

Performance-wise, the Latitude 7030 comes with up to a 12th Gen Intel Core i7 processor, integrated Iris Xe graphics, and up to 32GB of LPDDR5 memory. It also supports robust connectivity options including Wi-Fi 6E, GPS, and 5G, ensuring fast and reliable communication in the field.

The tablet’s 10.1-inch FHD+ (1920 x 1200) display is designed for clear visibility even in direct sunlight with a brightness of up to 1000 nits. Additionally, the glove-touch capability provides ease of use in various working conditions.

To enhance usability, Dell offers a range of accessories like a rigid handle, passive stylus, detachable keyboard and rotating hand strap. These accessories aim to provide a better user experience in different scenarios, whether it’s writing reports, drawing diagrams, or simply carrying the tablet around.
