SUSSEX, England — A 16-year-old came to the aid of police officers in England after a suspect fought with them during an arrest June 10.
According to The Telegraph, teenager Kiya Ingham tackled 31-year-old Bradley Jay Hughes who was under arrested over a domestic incident.
Ingham witnessed Hughes attack Officers Lynsey Burkinshaw and Johanna Clarke and immediately sprang into action.
Hughes was arrested and pled guilty to two counts of assaulting a police officer as a result of the incident.
Ingham reportedly dropped his current studies in exchange for pursuing a career in law enforcement as a result of the incident, according to the report.
