INDIANAPOLIS — Indiana State Police was featured in a MrBeast video, as 100 troopers undertook to locate the YouTuber in a “manhunt,” WLKY reported.
Spoiler alert: they got him.
The video, titled “Escape 100 Cops, Win $500,000,” sits at 42 million views on YouTube as of Aug. 24, a day after the video was posted. The rules of the game stipulated that MrBeast (Jimmy Donaldson) and four other people would don backpacks carrying $100,000 each.

The 100 troopers would search for the “suspects” in a faux city, at the Muscatatuck Urban Training Center, WLKY reported. If the troopers nabbed all the suspects within 12 hours, they would be awarded the money. If the suspects won, their money would go to each of their mothers.
As the game unfolded, the players used trickery and hidden tunnels and safe rooms to try to hide from the troopers, even trapping several of them in a model movie theater. The troopers’ pursuit was captured via hidden cameras, drone video, camera crews and body cameras.
The troopers were able to locate all the suspects with more than an hour to spare.
“We had a lot of fun being part of this production and showing a different side of the Indiana State Police,” the agency stated. “From K9 and emergency response to the everyday work our troopers do across Indiana, there is a lot more to being a Trooper than what you see on the side of the road.”
ISP also stated that all of the participating troopers were off duty and that the agency was compensated for the use of its vehicles and equipment.
Donaldson’s MrBeast channel is the most-subscribed channel on YouTube, with 514 million subscribers. He also runs the third-most-followed TikTok account, with around 138 million followers.
