TEMPLE, Texas — Bell County Deputy Constable Jeffrey Radford died after a two-vehicle crash Wednesday night, KXXV reported.
The incident ocurred in an intersection when a Ford SUV and Radford’s car collided, Temple police told the news site.
Radford, 69, was transported to the hospital in critical condition where he died hours later. The two people in the SUV were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
“Please keep Deputy Radford ‘s family and the members of precinct 3 Constable’s Office in your thoughts and prayers,” Temple Police Cpl. Christopher Wilcox told KXXV.
Radford had been with the department for two years.
An investigation is ongoing. No further information is available at this time.
