FRESNO, Calif. — Police in California are searching for a gang of women who fled after allegedly stealing hundreds of pairs of yoga pants.

KGO-TV reported that the women stole about $10,000 worth of yoga pants from a Lululemon store in Fresno, California on Sunday. Police said the women have likely hit other chains across California.

Yoga instructor Christine Brown, who witnessed the crime, said the women calmly went to the back of the store and scooped as many leggings as they could fit in their bags and walked out.

The leggings average about $100 each. Police said the women stole 148 pairs from the store and that they could be responsible for more thefts.

Lt. Joe Gomez said officials had three photos of the women and that they had been arrested previously.

Officers said employees and customers did the right thing by letting the women go. Police are trying to get video from the store’s parking lot, and believe that cameras inside the store captured the women’s faces.
