It seems like every week we hear of a squad car being stolen somewhere in the U.S. Follow these steps to make sure it doesn’t happen to your cruiser

“Without the SIRAS, we would have had to wait for the SWAT team to set a perimeter. Then we would have had to wait for the sun to come up, which would have been several hours afterwards,” explained Scotts Bluff County Sheriff’s Sgt. Bliss. “The deputies would have then walked the field, placing themselves in harm’s way.”
The Flagler County Sheriff’s Office stated that the suspect had threatened and attempted to assault deputies during previous encounters
