GREENVILLE, N.C. — A photo going viral shows what appears to be a baby, along with his father, being sworn into a North Carolina police department, Yahoo Parenting reports.
The photo shared on the department’s Facebook shows Officer Phillip Haning’s six-month-old son, Nolan, also raising his hand during the oath.

“This was too cute not to share,” the department said on their Facebook page. “Recruiting young! It looks like his son is ready to join the ranks as well!”
Haning was sworn into the Greenville Police Department on Tuesday and had his family present for support.
“Family is important to me, so I wanted them to be there for the occasion,” Haning tells Yahoo Parenting. “I know that, as a six-month-old, Nolan doesn’t understand what’s going on, but he’s a big part of my life so it was important to have him there.”
