Police: Kids don’t need drug paraphernalia for chem class

GILBERT, Ariz. — A “Back to School” tweet from the Gilbert Police Department alerting parents about unnecessary school supplies has gone viral.

The department tweeted a photo of drug paraphernalia, including crack pipes, bongs and marijuana pipes.

“If your kid tells you they need any of these for chemistry class, they are lying #BackToSchoolShopping #IDontThinkSo #ThursdayThoughts.”

The tweet has garnered 80,829 retweets and 143,522 favorites.
