FLORENCE COUNTY, S.C. — Dash cam footage captured a wild police pursuit in South Carolina that ended with a woman being ejected from her SUV.

On July 12, Florence County Sheriff’s deputies attempted to stop a driver, identified as 22-year-old Brittany Nicole Jeffords, for a traffic violation. But Jeffords didn’t stop, KXAN reported.

During the ensuing pursuit, the SUV Jeffords was driving made contact with several patrol vehicles. The SUV briefly stopped in a parking lot, where a man exited the vehicle. Police said he was arrested.

Jeffords eventually lost control of the vehicle and violently crashed.

The SUV rolled over several times before Jeffords was ejected from it. She was taken to a hospital and was later booked into a jail.

The man who was arrested reportedly told police Jeffords didn’t initially pull over for deputies because she didn’t want to go back to jail, according to WBTW.
