NEW YORK — Authorities say a man has been taken into custody after swinging a samurai sword inside an Apple store in Manhattan.
It happened shortly after 4 p.m. Friday at a store on Fifth Avenue near 59th Street.
A police spokesman says the man appeared to be emotionally disturbed. Officials say there were no reported injuries.
A video posted on social media appeared to show the man swinging a sword while walking down a staircase inside the store.
An Apple spokesman confirmed the incident, but declined to comment further.
