SEATTLE — Dash cam and body-worn camera video shows a chaotic scene as a suspect in a stolen vehicle attempted to flee, KOMO reports.

The incident unfolded after officers with the Seattle Police Department responded to a report of a stolen Honda CR-V on April 1.

The stolen vehicle had an AirTag inside, which helped police locate the vehicle parked less than a mile away, according to KOMO. The suspect got back into the vehicle after he noticed officers nearby, video shows.

Video shows a suspect quickly pulling out of a parking space, hitting an empty baby carrier, two parked vehicles, and narrowly missing a woman and a toddler before almost flipping the stolen vehicle.

The suspect then attempted to flee on foot but was tackled by responding officers and taken into custody.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of motor vehicle theft, vehicular assault, hit-and-run, reckless driving, obstructing a public officer, resisting arrest, unlawful firearm possession and violating the Uniform Controlled Substances Act.
