Suspect in shooting of Colo. police officer arrested
Jacob Aaron Sedillo was arrested for suspicion of attempted first-degree murder

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Police arrested the man suspected of shooting a police officer during a traffic stop last week.
Jacob Aaron Sedillo, 25, was taken into custody without incident, according to The Denver Channel. The officer, who hasn't been identified, was discharged from the hospital and is recovering at home.
The officer was allegedly shot by Sedillo after stopping him in a parking lot. The officer did not return fire. Sedillo, who was arrested for suspicion of attempted first-degree murder, had fled the scene after the shooting and was at-large until Tuesday.
The investigation into the shooting is ongoing.
