Duty Death: Jared Forsyth - [Ocala]

OCALA, Fla. — An officer with the Ocala Police Department died Monday after being struck by a bullet during a training exercise.
News 13 reports 33-year-old Officer Jared Forsyth, who had been with the department since 2012, was transported to a hospital in critical condition after the accidental shooting.
Forsyth was later pronounced dead at a hospital.
Police officials are currently investigating the incident, which involved another officer.
