On a search warrant service of a suspected meth lab, my tactical team arrived at the residence. Once inside and with the place secured, we found a lamp with a red light bulb. We traced the wires to a junction box outside and then to a motion detector located near the entrance to the yard. When the motion detector was activated it would turn on the red lamp inside the house to warn of intruders. This could be a big officer safety issue to tactical team operators.
