SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. — An officer responding to the site of a mass shooting that killed 14 people and critically wounded 17 more was captured on video reassuring evacuees of their safety, KPCC reported.
The officer told people to “relax” while he led them to safety.
“I’ll take a bullet before you do, that’s for damn sure,” the officer said in the video.
An employee of the social services workplace took the video while being evacuated.
