During IACP 2012 in San Diego, I visited with the folks from Harley Davidson to get a look not only at their “work” motors, but at the latest model in their line of “off- duty” tribute motorcycles.
Jim Polan spoke with me about the three unique motorcycles available for purchase by law enforcement officers only — special editions of the Road King, the Ultra Classic Electra Glide, and the Heritage Softail Classic — adorned with Thin Blue Line paint scheme and customizable medallions on the gas tank.
Harley Davidson motorcycles are iconic, powerful, and timeless — kind of like American police officers!
