SANTA CLARITA, Calif. — A bystander’s dash camera footage recently captured an LASD cruiser getting into a violent rollover crash, KABC reported.
The May 29 incident occurred while the deputy was responding to a burglary, according to the report. As he was driving through an intersection, the cruiser was struck by another driver, causing it to hit a second vehicle and roll over.
The bystander video appears to show that the cruiser’s emergency lights were activated as it went through the intersection.
The deputy, along with one other person involved in the initial crash, suffered injuries, according to the report. The crash remains under investigation.
