(MILWAUKEE) -- Four people, including two Milwaukee police officers, were hospitalized after a police chase ended in a crash at N. 45th and W. Locust streets, said police Sgt. David Muehl.
Muehl said a lone squad car was in pursuit of a vehicle when the squad car collided with a third vehicle that was not involved with the chase.
The two police officers and the two people in the other car were taken to Froedtert Memorial Lutheran Hospital to be treated for “minor injuries,” Muehl said.
The car that police were chasing fled the scene and was being sought late Thursday, said Muehl.
Muehl would not say where the chase began or why, but said the accident and chase are under investigation.
