Miami Dolphins pay tribute to murdered Conn. sergeant who was lifelong Dolphins fans

MIAMI — As tributes flood social media for the two Conn. officers killed during a suspected ambush last week, the Miami Dolphins found a creative way to honor one of the fallen officers after discovering he was a lifelong Dolphins fan.
WTHN News shared the heartwarming social media post by the team, which features a customized jersey adorned with Sergeant Dustin Demonte’s name. According to the tweet, Demonte was planning to attend a Dolphins’ game this past weekend before he was killed last week alongside his partner Alex Hamzey.
The jersey was hung in the team’s locker room before the game as a sign of remembrance.
