Video: Bird sings perfect imitation of UK police sirens

THAMES VALLEY, UK — Police officers in the UK were surprised when they discovered a bird that had learned to mimic the sound of police sirens, the Manchester Daily News reported.

The bird’s impressive imitation was caught on camera outside the Roads Policing base, starting with its natural bird call before switching to a convincing siren sound, video posted on X shows.

“This is 100% real and not a late April Fools joke,” the department clarified in the thread.

The police department also added, “Officers at our Roads Policing base in Bicester have been left a little confused this week, after finding out one of their resident birds has learnt to mimic the sound of a police siren! From our workshops that test out the two-tone tune to officers deploying to jobs, this little fella has been sat patiently observing the noise to recreate it!”
