By Police1 Staff

THAMES VALLEY, England — A driver in England presented an officer with an ID of a well-known fictional character after he was pulled over.

UPI reports that last week, a Thames Valley police officer pulled over a driver and asked for ID. The driver handed the officer a picture featuring Homer Simpson.

The police department shared a picture of the ID on Twitter, which has garnered more than 4,400 retweets. Some users pointed out some mistakes on the ID, such as the incorrect address and birth date of the cartoon character.

“Everyone knows that Homer Simpson lives at 742 Evergreen Terrace! Amateur...” one user wrote.

“The driver’s car was seized and he was reported for driving with no insurance and driving without a proper license,” police said.
