BURLINGTON, Ontario — The Halton Regional Police System took an SUV off the streets when cops realized the driver’s seat was a lawn chair that appeared to have no seat belt.

“Just when you think you have seen it all,” HRPS Burlington tweeted along with several photos of the confiscated Ford Edge.

Cops noted the drivers “seat” was problematic and that the car was being hauled away rather than driven.

“Licence plates removed, car towed, and driver summonsed to court for Unsafe Vehicle and Seatbelt Inoperative,” the tweet said.

The vehicle, which had litter scattered about its interior, also had a can of Canada Dry in its cup holder. Police made the stop roughly 150 miles northwest of Buffalo, N.Y., on Monday.

Police did not release information about the SUV’s driver.
