SANDPOINT, Idaho — Dash and body camera footage has been released of a fatal July 8 shooting of a woman armed with a knife.

According to KREM, police were called to the scene outside the emergency room of Bonner General Hospital after 35-year-old Jeanetta Riley threatened to kill people at the hospital with a knife.

Officer Skylar Ziegler and Michael Valenzuela were immediately approached by Riley as they arrived. They can be heard in the video ordering Riley to drop her weapon multiple times.

Riley shouted back at officers, “F--- you!” and “Bring it on!” according to the CDA Press.

Valenzuela and Ziegler opened fire as Riley began to charge at them.

Five shots were fired, and Riley was hit by three of them, according to the Daily Bee.

She was handcuffed and treated by EMTs at the scene, but did not survive.

Officials released the videos after it was ruled the officers’ use of force was justified October 31. Riley was reportedly within 12-15 feet of Officer Ziegler and 10 feet from Valenzuela when the shooting occurred.
