"You're not going to lose your arm," officers say to the man who was shot in the shoulder

ATLANTA — The Atlanta Police Department released body-worn camera footage from a road rage incident last month. APD officers were credited with saving the life of a man who had been shot in the shoulder during the incident.
In the video, officers applied a tourniquet to the victim’s arm before EMS arrived. “The victim advised officers that he believes the shooting was related to a possible road rage incident between himself and another driver that escalated to shots fired,” the department wrote on Facebook.
The officers can be heard reassuring the man in the video, saying, “You’re not going to lose your arm.”
The man was transported to a hospital and the incident remains under investigation.
