HOUSTON — A Houston police officer was killed while conducting a traffic escort.
Senior Police Officer Alex Roberts, who was assigned to the Traffic Enforcement Division’s Solo Motorcycle Detail, was struck by another vehicle while riding his motorcycle, according to the Houston Police Department. The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety are investigating the crash.
