CHICAGO — Chicago’s Civilian Office of Police Accountability released body-worn camera footage showing the fatal shooting of a suspect who fired shots at officers after a pursuit, according to FOX 32.

The incident began on May 8 when officers responded to a report of a person with a gun and stopped a man in a vehicle. The individual was wanted in connection with an aggravated battery case.

During the traffic stop, the man refused to exit the vehicle, prompting officers to break the driver’s side window. He then fled, leading police on a pursuit into Hammond, Indiana.
