Truglo, manufacturer of fiber-optic sights for the shooting sport industry, has introduced its next generation of handgun sights: the Brite-Site TFX.

The Tritium/Fiber-Optic Xtreme (TFX) is an enhanced version of the company’s Tritium/Fiber Optic (TFO). The TFX evolved out of a necessity to create a bright, durable solution for sights that function both day and night, according to a press release.

The sight’s hermetically sealed TFX capsule is designed to protect against oils, chemicals, cleaning solvents and ultra-sonic cleaning processes.

It also allows for a glow-in-the-dark option made to deliver clear sight in all shooting conditions, day or night. The white ring that surrounds the front fiber assists in low-light visibility and increases target acquisition and quick re-engagement for follow-up shots.

The inner fiber is housed discreetly and is intended to prevent the shooter’s location from being compromised.

The TFX is designed to be snag-free for quick holster deployment.

No batteries are required for the product. It retails for $172 and is available at truglo.com.
