INDIANAPOLIS — A woman’s dream of a practically endless supply of a sugary treat was thwarted by officers in Indiana , police say.

The Indianapolis Metro Police Department said a 32-year-old woman stole a Krispy Kreme truck Feb. 11 as a driver made a delivery.

But as she sped off, the truck’s door swung open, causing doughnuts to fly “all over the street,” police said.

The department shared a video showing a street littered with empty doughnut racks and boxes of the glazed treats.

“These bad boys do look delicious though,” an officer is heard saying in the video while holding a box.

The driver made it about 11 miles, but police said her location was tracked through the truck’s GPS. Officers in neighboring Speedway pulled her over, putting an end to her “not-so-sweet getaway.”

She was charged with auto theft and possession of paraphernalia, police said.
