AUSTIN — Cell phone video captured a suspect’s attempted escape from police Wednesday during the South by Southwest Festival in Austin.
According to the Austin-American Statesman, officers were breaking up a fight between two men when a third man interfered and was TASERed.
All three were being placed under arrest when one of the suspects, already in handcuffs, took off running through the crowd.
Police were able to catch the runner and charge him with evading arrest. The investigation is ongoing.
